New Customer: Air Iceland

The QQE-System team proudly reports the successful installation of QQE-System at a new customer: Air Iceland. Air Iceland is a Regional Airline based in Reykjavik and Akureyri Airport and currently operates 8 aircraft on national and international routes. As the QQE-System team always tries to meet the customers needs, we have implemented a new and additional function for Air Iceland into QQE-System.

In order to satisfy the needs of the Icelandic Civil Aviation Authorities (ICAA) "Proposed Corrective Actions" have been implemented into QQE-System. Additionally, in the version of Air Iceland the audit plan has already been implemented in order to make the use of QQE-System more user friendly.

Air Iceland, part of the Icelandair Group, is a dynamic company with firm roots that go back to the start of aviation in Iceland. It was formed by a merger between Icelandair Domestic and Norlandair (Flugfélag Norðurlands) with the goal of creating a flexible yet powerful airline servicing the West Nordic countries. The main base of Air Iceland is Reykjavik.

The head office of Air Iceland is located in the capital, Reykjavík, but the company's registered domicile is in Akureyri, the main town in north Iceland. Both Reykjavík Airport and Akureyri Airport serve as hubs for Air Iceland's route network.
